This essay is part of Approaching Life, an ongoing body of writing that explores how we think, communicate, and navigate complexity — personally, professionally, and collectively. Approaching Life is the foundation — and, in part, the guidebook — for How to Debate: Staying On Track (orientation), A.L.I.G.N. (communication), and Anabolic Debate (execution). Together, these frameworks prepare us to engage disagreement with clarity, capacity, and direction — before we ever step into debate itself.
